One PhD position is available at GRENT with the starting date of Fall 2022/Spring 2023 semester. 

Required skills and background

  • Masters degree with a focus on power electronics/ electric machines and drives/ controls.

  • Meeting LSU Grad School admission requirements.

  • Proficiency with at least one of the Simulation Software widely used in power engineering, such as MATLAB and SIMULINK.

  • Familiarity with MicroController/DSP coding and programming.

Desired skills

  • Hands on experience with designing, building and testing power electronics circuitry.

  • Proficiency with DSP coding and programming.
